Full Cycle Bookkeeper

Sandstone Medical Solutions is seeking a dedicated Full-Cycle Bookkeeper in the Las Vegas area!

This position is not a remote position.

Summary:

We are looking for a skilled full-cycle bookkeeper with experience in In-House Payroll, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, and some journal entry experience. The position is for a Firm that manages multiple clients. The responsibility of the Full Cycle Bookkeeper is to manage payroll, AR, and reconciliations for multiple companies in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. We are located on the North West side of the valley.

Industries Serviced: Medical Healthcare, Behavioral Healthcare, I.T., Property Management, and Retail.

Job Duties and Responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Process weekly and bi-weekly multi-entity contractor payments for multiple clients.
  • Process bi-weekly payroll for multiple clients.
  • Compile employee and contractor time and payroll data from timesheets and other records, including exporting and manipulating Excel documents.
  • Review timesheets, work charts, wage computation, and reconcile payroll discrepancies.
  • Process payroll and issue statements of earnings and deductions.
  • File and process bi-weekly payroll taxes and other related payroll reports required by State and Federal (941).
  • File and process quarterly payroll taxes and other related reports required by State and Federal (940, 941, SUTA, MBT).
  • Understanding how PTO accrues for payroll and keeps hours accurate.
  • Knowledge of health insurance, 401K deductions, life insurance, and garnishments.
  • Understanding between pre-tax and post-tax payroll transactions.
  • Experience with workers’ compensation and unemployment forms.
  • Review and prepare annual W2/W3 for multiple clients.
  • Prepare form 1099 for all applicable vendors each year.
  • File and process sales/use tax based on clients’ scheduled filing times.
  • Compile quarterly PBJ reports.
  • Accounts Receivable Management for multiple clients.
  • Invoicing for multiple clients.
  • Regular AR reporting for clients.
  • Assist clients with Excel.
  • Bank reconciliations.

Skills:

  • Must have experience with payroll in QuickBooks Desktop.
  • Data entry skills and a knack for numbers.
  • Hands-on experience with Excel.
  • Prefer Pivot Table experience or a willingness to learn.

Excellent organizational skills

Proficiency in MS Office
